A bit about me...

Hello! My name is Victoria Wilkerson and I live in Daytona Beach, Florida. Welcome to my website.

I was employed by the Volusia County School Board May 2001 as a Paraprofessional. After graduating Daytona Beach College, now known as Daytona State College, I enrolled at the University of Central Florida graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education in 2010 and began teaching that fall at Horizon Elementary in Port Orange, Florida. Within two years of the completion of the Bachelor’s degree in Exceptional Child Education, I applied to Webster University to their Educational Technology M.E.T program and was accepted. I completed my Master’s Degree in Educational Technology May 2014. I am currently working on my Educational Technology Leadership Degree. Set to graduate Spring 2021.

My interest in technology dates back to the first time my dad sat down and showed me how to create a document using Microsoft Publisher. It was through this experience I discovered the power of technology and how it can enhance any project. We are all surrounded by technology and I have found the classroom environment to be a wonderful way to integrate its use and serves as my inspiration for starting the Master’s in Educational Technology program at Webster University.

I am an alumni of Daytona State College (2004), University of Central Florida (UCF) (2010), and Webster University (2021).
